We will be forced to pay contributions even for organizations under abolition
From now on, employers will have to submit detailed periodic statements each month instead of two, to check the whether salaries and contributions match in order not to affect the funds.

Furthermore, the insured who have not paid contributions to OAED, OEK and OEE in the future will necessarily pay, although the benefits of the two merging organizations are in the air, and it has not been clarified yet whether there will be no new programs for the benefit of those of low income and low pensions.
Contributions will be paid by the following:
- Greek nationals working abroad outside EU countries for an employer based in Greece
- employees of the State who during their permanence chose their prior insurance in IKA-ETAM
- chartered appraisers who are members the Body of Chartered Appraisers
Furthermore, the insured who have not paid contributions to OAED, OEK and OEE in the future will necessarily pay, although the benefits of the two merging organizations are in the air, and it has not been clarified yet whether there will be no new programs for the benefit of those of low income and low pensions.
Contributions will be paid by the following:
- Greek nationals working abroad outside EU countries for an employer based in Greece
- employees of the State who during their permanence chose their prior insurance in IKA-ETAM
- chartered appraisers who are members the Body of Chartered Appraisers
- members of civil partnerships
- remunerated and professional athletes
- fishermen employed on ships under foreign flags insured under the provisions of law 800/1978
- volunteers of five-year service in the armed forces and privates of the armed forces who, after the fulfillment of their military obligations, are voluntarily reclassified for a short period
Any exemptions or reductions adopted are repealed. A single rate of 7% is provided for all categories of all the cases of those formerly insured, for whom there is an additional special levy.
Parents will also be able to take parental leave from 4 months (from the 3.5 in force until now) up to 6 years without pay and under conditions. A working parent is entitled to parental leave until the child is 6 years old.
For the award of parental leaves, employees must have completed 1 year of continuous or intermittent employment with the same employer, unless there is a special favorable arrangement. Requests for parental leave of parents who have children with disabilities, or long-term or sudden illness, and single parents are treated with absolute priority. If both parents are employed by the same employer, they decide by mutual agreement which of the two will first make use of this option and for how long.
