The ideological platform for PASOK’s future will be presented by Andreas Loverdos on Thursday.
The Health Minister announced on Wednesday that he will be giving a press conference in the EBEA hall at 12.30 on Thursday.
The Minister’s intervention will involve PASOK intra-party issues but will also be related to the economic situation being faced by the country. Mr. Loverdos is expected to report on internal party elections at the time of national elections and the next steps that the Papademos government must take, as well the next government.
Mr. Loverdos’ intervention will take place a few hours before the PASOK political council, which is scheduled for 16.30 on Thursday. The immediate withdrawal of Mr. Papandreou as party chairman is expected to be requested during that meeting.
We remind readers that recently Mr. Loverdos had proceeded with joint statements with the Finance Minister, stressing that their common fight will be for the new setting in the movement.
All this is taking place while the PASOK processes are intensifying, with March 4th as the most probable day for the procedures to begin.
