Dallara - officially - arrives on Thursday

An official announcement was made by the IIF confirming the return of the negotiating committee to Athens.

“At a meeting held today in Paris, the Negotiating Committee of the Association of international lenders-investors in Greece, under the joint chairmanship of Charles Dallara and Jean Lemierre, decided to send a team of experts to Athens, in order to continue negotiations with the Greek government on the legal and technical issues related to the process of voluntary exchange of Greek bonds (PSI). The aim is to agree on all outstanding technical and legal issues as quickly as possible. Following discussions with the leadership of Greece, the chairmen of the Commission will return to Athens on Thursday for informal discussions”.

We remind our readers that consultations on the Greek “haircut” took place today in Paris, bringing together representatives of Greek and foreign banks.
