Better weather for Sunday

After the wave of bad weather that hit the country on Friday, the National Weather Service predicts a gradual decrease of the storms from the west, with weaker winds, but also with a significant drop of temperature across the country.

Sunday

Weather: rainfall and storms in the east and south, and snowfall in mountainous and hilly regions, with a gradual decline. Overcast skies for the rest of the country.

Winds: northwestern 6-8B.

Temperature: minor increase during the day with frost, locally strong, forming in the morning and night in the central and northern continental regions.

Temperature: -8 – 9C in northern Greece, 1 – 11 in central and southern Greece, - 2 – 11 in western Greece, and 10 – 14 in the Aegean and Crete.

Attica

Weather: mild.

Winds: moderate northwestern in Saronikos, increased in southern Evoikos, with a gradual decline in the afternoon.

Temperature: will reach 12C.

Thessaloniki

Weather: locally overcast.

Winds: strong northwestern in Thermaikos, with a gradual decline in the afternoon.

Temperature: will reach 6C.
