Extreme suggestion for Papandreou to say "I'm not leaving, you take me down!"

"I'm not leaving, you take me down", Papandreou told his ministers moments ago. This statement follows the viewpoint expressed in protothema.gr by Reggina Vartzeli, a close associate of the PM, that he has not resigned nor is he planning to.

According to reliable information on protothema.gr, ministers are determined to seek Papandeou's resignation as prime minister during the cabinet meeting.

If Papandreou is not willing to leave, PASOK ministers and MPs are determined to raise the issue of the PM's resignation during the meeting of the PG, which is expected to start after the cabinet.

Estimates by politicians say that even the possibility of PASOK’s degradation can not be excluded, since the line of the PM seems hopeless.

"We must salvage as much as we can", said health minister Andreas Loverdos coming to the cabinet meeting.

When asked what Papandreou is going to do, Loverdos said: "This is for the collective institutions to decide", a placement that translates into the beginning of public questioning for Papandreou.  

At this moment, Dimitris Reppas, Christos Papoutsis, Giorgos Papakonstantinou, Pavlos Geroulanos and Philippos Sahinidis are outside the PM’s office, all expecting to meet with him.
