Six new priorities, and mainly the one of lowering tax rates for business owners and companies and the one of taxing bank deposits in Switzerland, are at the top of Mr.Venizelos' agenda after the realization that the budget for 2011 is off the goal set by the Troika.

The setback is around 4,5 billion euros and it is estimated that under the current circumstances and with the markets at such a low point, it could reach 7 billion. Small hopes were raised in July that did not come through in the end.
