PASOK MPs afraid to leave their homes
PASOK MPs are leaving with the fear of Indignant people, everyday receiving threats and jeering by people who cannot forget they voted in favor of the memorandum.
UPD:
PASOK MPs are living in fear of the Indignant citizens, receiving threats and jeering every day by people who cannot forget they voted in favor of the memorandum.
The parliament chairman might be talking about attacks against democracy, but the MPs ears are still ringing from the booing they are subjected to in every public appearance.
And as for the excuse and demonization of SYRIZA supposedly being behind every such incident, it is beginning to look like an unconvincing tasteless joke.
Let’s have a look at the latest incidents…
* On Monday afternoon, Trikala residents burst into a local tv station and, shouting slogans, interrupted the interview of PASOK MP Soula Merentiti. The intruders launched a verbal attack against the Trikala MP, who left under police protection, while one of them read a text with the views of the group.
* On Monday morning, Labour vice minister Koutsoukos found himself up against the protests of EVO workers, in a labour sector where SYRIZA has a very limited union representation.
* MP Antonakopoulos was subjected verbal assault by a citizen in Ilia, nearly getting into a fight.
* Yoghurt and water were thrown at Tsonis on Friday night in Lamia, while angry citizens threatened to lynch him.
