Sell everything, says the Troika
It is finally a reality, we are selling off everything. The Public electricity Company, DEI, the Organisation for Games, OPAP, ports and anything that the state owns is to be sold as per the Troika request. According to sources from the ministry of Finance, the governement agreed to a "For Sale" sign order to amass the huge sum of 15 billion euros by the end of 2012. The only way to have income is to sell everything.

These demands by the Troika follow on the unwillingness of the government to sell public property (which has not even been inventoried yet) and all companies that are declared as DEKO.
The Troika members ordered the government to stop the cuts to payrolls and pensions and start selling. However, the government replied that "the Prime Minister will not allow any sales of state property".
Bob Traa, the Dutch representative of the Troika, is baffled by the government's unwillingness to make decisions. He remains polite and positive although he has heard inconceivable excuses about the inconsistencies of the government. Sources say that in the upcoming audit he will openly propose sell-offs of public property.
