Faye Mayer will be imprisoned

27-year-old German Faye Mayer, accused of involvement in a terrorist organization, is to be taken into custody as per the Magistrates’ Council decree.

The council judges decided to accept the prosecutor’s motion, which deemed Faye Mayer to be a flight risk and requested a provisional arrest.

The 27-year-old, who denies any involvement in terrorist organizations and states that she belongs to the anti-authoritarian field, was interviewed by the 19th investigative prosecutor on the 17th of January.
Afterwards, there was a disagreement between the prosecutor and the D.A. on whether she should temporarily be remanded or not, with the prosecutor advocating that she be released on conditions, and the D.A. suggesting pre-trial custody.

The Magistrates’ Council was asked to resolve the dispute, and ultimately they decided that she be taken into custody until the trial.
