Overcast skies with rain and snow on Wednesday

Cloudy weather with rain is predicted for central and northern areas, with snow on the mountains. The phenomena will intensify from the afternoon and storms will occur, mainly in the southwest.

In the rest of the areas the weather will be mild and light cloud will occur in the afternoon, which will gradually increase. Winds in the east will be northeastern at 4B and in the west and south east  they will be southeastern 4-6B. In the northwest they will be 6-7B.

The temperature will rise slightly but during the night and the early morning frost will form in the north.

Attica

Light overcast that will increase in the afternoon and rain that will intensify during the night. The winds will be northeastern 4-5B and 6 in the east and the temperature will be between 3-11C.

Thessaloniki

Light cloud will increase during the night. North winds will blow at 3-4B and the temperature will be -1 to 8C.

Macedonia, Thrace

There will be ocally overcast skies and a lot of sunshine, with mild winds, and the temperature between -5 and 9C. Frost will form in the early hours.

Ionian, Epirus, West Mainland, West Peloponnisos

Cloud and local rain will occur from the afternoon onwards, mainly in the southwest. Storms will occur in the southernmost areas and during the night they will be very strong, mainly in southwest Peloponnisos. During the night, snow will fall on the mountains. The winds will be southeastern 5-7B, 8 in the southern Ionian Sea and the temperature will be between 1-13C.

Thessaly, East Mainland, Evia, East Peloponnisos

Local loud will increase in the afternoon with rain initially in Peloponnisos, and during the night in East Mainland, Evia and Thessaly. Storms will occur in the north during the night and snow will fall on the mountains. The winds will be 4-6B and in the south locally 7-8B with the temperature ranging between 0-12C.

Cyclades, Crete

Light cloud will gradually increase from the west and local rain and storms will occur during the night. The winds will be north-northeastern 4-6B and will turn to eastern-southeastern during the night. The temperature will be between 7-13C.

Eastern Aegean and Dodecanese

Generally mild weather with cloud from the afternoon onwards in the south. Winds will be eastern 4-6B and the temperature will be 2-13C, 2-3 lower in the north.
