New strikes by pharmacists

The pharmacists have decided that they will continue their strikes protesting against the new measures of the government concerning the deregulation of their profession. Two 24-hour strikes will occur at the end of the week – on Friday 4/2 and Monday 7/2, whilst on Wednesday 9/2 there will be a general meeting of the representative board that will decide on the next steps.

There has not as yet been a decision by the union of pharmacists of Attica as to whether they will continue with the strikes along with all the other pharmacists of the country, as well as whether they will continue to sell medications to on credit to all individuals on social security since they have not been paid for the medicine they have already provided on credit to insured persons in 2010.
