Smoking is prohibited and the law will be implemented!

Earlier today at a press conference, the minister of Health, Andreas Loverdos, announced the total ban on smoking and the full implementation of the law.

He also said that the Labour inspectorate has been added to the control mechanism and went on to state that the results of the controls will be published every week and will force offenders to take responsibility for their actions.

Loverdos also referred to the special cigarette tax, stressing that «our proposals were not accepted».
