They refuse to accept changes in their profession
While pharmacists are planning 48hr strikes with only the on-call pharmacies open, lawyers and engineers are fighting off the government's pressures to accept changes in their profession.
Pharmacists
Pharmacists have remained firm in their positions and refuse to oblige the government in reference to new opening hours. Strikes have been decided already, with only on-call pharmacies operating, and they have also decided to go to the European Court against the Greek Government in order to ask for all the money owed by the government to most of them.
Lawyers
There are changes in their profession as well in the new legislation planned by the government, such as no geographical or fee restrictions.
Engineers
Engineers are also unanimously against the deregulation of their profession, and they claim that the government will be losing 230 million euros annualy should the new legislation go through.
