Increase in tariffs for 4m homes, but still they make less!
The Public Electricity Company DEI has suceeded in inventing new ways of management.

The Public Electricity company DEI has suceeded in inventing new ways of management.
All bills are increasing for 4,1 million Greeks, but at the same time company sales are at 140 million euros less.
Electricity bills for households will increase by 11% but funnily enough, for businesses and richer areas like the northern suburbs the bills will decrease since they are the ones who have been subsidising the poorer customers, a DEI rule that has been cancelled due to EU regulations.
According to DEI there will be a smaller bill to pay for more than 1.2 million customers that will fill out the "financially weaker" form by January 31st.
Specifically:
20-30% decrease in bills for 1.2 million customers
3-17% at the approximate mid-level prices of electricity rates.
Stable prices for more than 2.5 million households.
Agricultural rates will have an increase of 6% but will remain much lower than all others.
An increase of 11% for all customers than consume 0 - 800 kWh and that is calculated at1.6 million customers (mostly bills for summer houses, closed homes, etc.)
Greek customers will in total pay 140.000.000 less for buying the same amount of electricity. But if we calculate the increase of tax from 11% to 13% the amount is actually 37.000.000.
