Papandreou predicts extension of the debt in February

Prime Minister Mr. Papandreou is certain that Greece will proceed in extending its debts towards the Troika, according to sources on what was said in the cabinet meeting today, Monday.

 He also announced a new investment law in the beginning of the New Year, whilst highlighting how important the European changes in financial issues are for Greece, especially after the mechanism of fiscal support.

Lastly, he asked for all ministers to coordinate better and for other members of parliament to put forward ideas for new legislation. Tomorrow, Tuesday, in the early afternoon the cabinet meeting will commence officially, with the change in all “closed” professions (pharmacies etc) as its main topic of discussion .
