The weather is expected to worsen beginning Wednesday night, with storms in coastal areas and seas alike, accompanied by snowfall at high altitudes. The southerly winds will also increase in strength in the Aegean

The weather is expected to worsen beginning Wednesday night, with storms in coastal areas and seas alike, accompanied by snowfall at high altitudes. The southerly winds will also increase in strength in the Aegean.

The temperature will be between -5 and 4 Celsius in Northern Greece, -2  to 12 in Central and Southern Greece, -1 to 9 in the West, and 4 to 14 in the Aegean Isles and Crete. Last but not least, it will fluctuate between 3 and 13 Celsius in the Eastern parts of the Aegean.

In Attica the temperature will vary between 1 and 12 Celsius, with only a few spots of cloud in the morning that will rapidly turn to heavy overhanging rain clouds, resulting in showers in the afternoon. At night, one can expect heavy showers and snowfall in the mountainous northern parts.

Strong southwesterly winds, around 3 to 4 on the Beaufort scale, will prevail in the Ionian sea.

There will be sleet and snowfall in Salonica, with winds blowing from the North, at 3 to 5 Beaufort. The temperature will remain around -3 to 4 Celsius.
