Extreme weather conditions and low temperature in most parts of Greece, with snow in Northern and Western Greece, Evia and Thessaly.

Snow has fallen on Parnitha and Penteli and other northern areas of Attica. The snowfall will continue until Sunday morning, when there will be frost.

Parnitha Avenue will remain closed from the funicular railway and upwards due to snowfall. Lorries are not allowed on the National Highway Athens to Theva and the junction of Magoula-Mandra, where cars need snow tire-chains.
