Kavala knocks AEK down (2-1)

Being a far better side during the game, Kavala won the game against AEK Athens in "Anthi Karagianni" stadium scoring 2 goals to 1, leaving their opponents far away from the top places of the league's standings.

The home side had an explosive start in both halfs, scoring one goal apiece. The only thing AEK succeeded, was to score a goal with Scocco a few minutes before the end of the game, while playing with 10 men (Kafes was injured and couldn't continue, while Jimenez had already made his three changes).
