Kouvelis: I would never cooperate again with Samaras

Democratic Left (DIMAR) president Fotis Kouvelis appeared negative to the possibility of cooperating with the Prime Minister, reiterating that he opposes the followed policy although he told Skai that he has no problem with Antonis Samaras.

The chairman of DIMAR also referred to the agreement of the government with the troika.

"It's an agreement full of concessions regarding the attitude the Greek government had to keep. For example: We have a primary surplus at 2.9 billion euros. This came with the great sacrifices of the Greek people, the over-taxation, by the fact that the Greek state has not paid its obligations toward private individuals. But in any case there was a primary surplus I do not want to underestimate. But the primary surplus, the 2.9 billion euros, cannot reach the distribution of 500-600 million, given that it is an agreement with the country’s partners that the 70% deriving as a result of the success of the objectives must be returned to the Greek society. So from 2.9 billion euros should have turned to Greek society about 2 billion," Kouvelis said on Star TV.
