SYRIZA spokesman Panos Scourletis unleashed harsh criticism Tuesday on the Greek government’s response to the comments of Angela Merkel that if Greece had left the euro, then all the other Member-States would have to leave the eurozone at a later time.
"Merkel's statements constitute an apocalyptic acknowledgment of reality; a reality the Greek government never seized to negotiate for the benefit of the Greek people. Instead, it adopted the strategy of absolute obedience with the known harmful effects. The responsibilities of the Greek governments are enormous."
