Hadjidakis: The Investment Fund will find cheaper money for SMBs

Hadjidakis: The Investment Fund will find cheaper money for SMBs
The Greek Investment Fund will be created by the end of the year will find cheaper money for small and medium sized businesses (SMBs), will be a shareholder in good efforts by SMBs and will fund programs of smaller projects part of which is currently covered by the European Investment Bank, Development Minister Kostis Hadjidakis told Skai.

The Fund will start with a capital amounting to 450 million euros, according to the memorandum signed by the Minister and the German KfW Bank president Urlich Schroeder.

Regarding the NSRF program, Hadjidakis said that from the 18th position in absorbency last year Greece is now 4th, and added that the country utilizes the funds but they are just not enough as there is liquidity caused by the crisis.

The minister also said that the Greek government is looking for ways to address the deficit financing of the Greek market.
