The IMF acceptance for the wrong assumptions on its part in the evaluation report of the first program of the Greek economy from 2010 to 2012 has caused quite a stir.

"It's very positive to learn from our mistakes," says Greek Finance Minister Stournaras talking to "Ta Nea" newspaper on the new IMF document.
Besides, he has personally contributed to the formation of the document, after being asked about the weaknesses of the program under his then capacity as FEIR chairman.
As he adds, he then pointed to the technocrats that it was wrong for the program to mainly emphasize on reducing the deficit and not on the structural changes.
