Greek government close to an agreement with troika

Immediately after the meeting between Samaras, the Greek economic team and troika, Finance minister Yannis Stournaras said the next tranche of the loan is secured and there has been significant progress in all aspects of the negotiations.

 

Stournaras added that the two sides are ‘very close to all issues’ and that the troikans will leave tomorrow, despite some technical issues that have been left unresolved. He clarified that all issues will be closed in a few days when troika returns in late March or early April.
