UPD:
A letter to the Minister of Justice, Antonis Roupakiotis, was sent by President of the House Vangelis Meimarakis, with which he asks him to arrange the publication of the list of the Financial Crime Unit.
Specifically, in the letter it is stated that “due to the conditions which the country faces and the widespread publicity of recent incidents involving the alleged leaks from FCU investigations into politicians, and after a unanimous decision by the Conference of House Chairmen, we request that you publicize all the details associated with these cases”.
Furthermore, the colleagues of the House chairman commented that “through selective leaks, an unhealthy climate is created and all MPs remain unprotected from anyone that wishes to hurt them personally or hurt the Parliament during a period when we are called upon to make important decisions; everything should be publicized. It is not possible that the people allegedly implicated have no access to the case files”.
In a parallel development, the immediate investigation of the list leaking has been requested by the Supreme Court prosecutor I. Tendes, after the relevant order of the Head of the Athens District Attorney's Office, Eleni Raikou.
A corresponding intervention was also made by Financial Prosecutor Grigoris Peponis, who ordered the launch of an investigation into the leaking of the list.
In response to the leaking of the list of 36 names, the politicians implicated in it are voicing their responses.

In particular regard to the assets of House Chairman Vangelis Meimarakis, these appear in a steady straight line, and from 1989 onwards do not present any striking deviations.
Both his real estate and as his portfolio leave little room for suspicious illegal enrichment activities.
