Kyriakos and Simpilidis fighting over honorary president Konstantinos Mitsotakis…

Kyriakos and Simpilidis are fighting through the internet, exchanging heavy words. Commenting on the initial candidacy of Simpilidis in Kilkis, the son of the former PM and ND candidate in the second electoral district of Athens spoke of “political crimes that have not yet been expunged”.
 
The answer from George Simpilidis came via Facebook. “In response to Kyriakos Mitsotakis, I must say that I feel proud because I relieved the party from his father. If he feels that his leader is a political criminal, he should make himself useful and not live on the money of the Greek people," he said, only to receive the following reply by Kyriakos Mitsotakis: "I understand your bitterness. You waited 20 years to politically cash in your thirty pieces of silver and once again you were left out.”
 
Although the party had initially announced the participation of George Simpilidis in the blue ballot in Kilkis, he was finally removed after reactions both inside and outside of ND.
