Economic Affairs committee of the parliament, where the discussion for
the memorandum began, PASOK MP Luka Katseli announced her decision to
vote against the new loan agreement.
At the same time, speaking to reporters, Vaso Papandreou announced that she will not vote for the new loan agreement either.
Two more PASOK members, Dimitris Varvarigos and Pemi Zouni, announced their resignations, expressing their opposition to the new agreement.
Zante PASOK MP Dimitris Varvarigos wrote to the chairman of the parliament, tendering his resignation from office.
Speaking at the PASOK PG meeting on Saturday, Pemi Zouni said that the measures are unjust and she will not vote in their favor. "After two and a half years of effort, I have not served Greece," she said.
P. Zouni was elected in the First Athens district. The first runner-up is Anna Vagena.
Arta PASOK MP P. Stasinos announced his resignation on Friday, thus opposing the new measures. As announced, his position was filled by the second runner-up in the prefecture, Christos Gokas, since the first one, Yannis Papalexis, is the mayor of Arta.
