Even colder weather from Monday onwards!

Drizzling, cloudy skies and snow fall in the mountains of Parnetha and Kitheronas will be the main weather phenomena of the coming week. Strong winds and low temperatures between 5 and 11C will prevail.

On Monday in particular, Thessaly, East Sterea, Evia, Eastern Peloponnese and East Thrace will see local rain and snow. In the Aegean rainfall will be the main characteristic and Crete will see snowfall in the mountainous regions.

Macedonian skies will be overcast, low temperatures will reign and winds in the Aegean are expected to be very strong, but from Monday night onwards they will die out.

Tuesday

In the eastern and southern parts of the country overcast skies, rain and snow in the mountains will be the main picture of the day. Storms in the southeast. Slowly as we move into Wednesday the phenomena will  grow weaker. In the rest of the country the weather will be fair with few clouds in the sky.

Winds will grow weaker, too, and the temperature is expected to rise.

Wednesday

Good weather with only a few cloudy patches in the South and possible rainfall in the north of Crete, especially during the morning hours.

Winds will blow from north to west and will be moderate to near gale-force in places.

The temperature will rise slightly but as we move into Thursday, the mainland will be enveloped in frost.

Thursday

Clouds and rainfall in Thessaly, East Sterea, Evia, East Peloponnese, the Cyclades and North Crete and light snowfall on the mountains.

Winds will be moderate and we will experience a slight rise in temperature.
