Cold with rain and snow

Local showers and thunderstorms will occur on the weekend in the country. Temperatures will fall sharply. Winds will be prevalent from the north and northeast.  The weather will be similar on Monday.

In Attica, there will be cloudy weather, localized rains and north-northeasterly winds between 5and 6B. Temperatures will range between 7 and 11 C.

In Thessaloniki, there will be clouds, temporarily increase. Temperatures will range between 5 and 9 C. Easterly winds between 4 to 6B are expected.

In Macedonia and Thrace, there will be clouds,  and brief rainfall with a chance of snow-water in the mountains . Temperatures will range between 4 to 10 degrees Celsius and 3 to 4 degrees lower in western Macedonia. Winds from the northeast will reach around 4 to 6 B.

In the Ionian Islands, Epirus, the western mainland and the  western parts of the Peloponnese, there will be clouds. Winds will be north north-easterly between 4to 6B. Temperatures will range between 8 to 16 C.

In Thessaly, the eastern mainland, Euboea and eastern Peloponnese, there will be sporadic clouds with a chance of rainfall and snow-water in the mountains, characterized by northerly-northeasterly winds between 5 and 7 B. Temperatures will range between 6 and 12 C.

In Cyclades and Crete there will be localized clouds, with rainfall in Crete, while winds will remain between 6to 7 B, from northern-northeasterly directions. Temperatures will range between 10 and 14 C.

In the eastern Aegean and the Dodecanese clouds are expected throughout the area. Showers are expected in the nighttime. Northerly-northeasterly winds between 6 to 7B are expected, accompanied by 10 to 19 degrees Celsius temperatures. The temperature will be 3 to 6 degrees lower in the north.

On Sunday there will be rain and snow across the country. In the north east northeast 6 to 8 and locally in the Aegean, at 9 Beaufort. The temperature will remain at low levels.

On Monday in Thessaly, eastern Mainland, Euboea, eastern Peloponnese and possibly Thrace, there will be clouds with localized rains or snowfall in the north mountainous areas. In the northern Aegean, Cyclades, Crete and the Dodecanese there will be localized clouds with rains and snowfall in the mountains of Crete. Sporadic storms will take place in the southeast. Temperatures will fluctuate at low levels.
