Storms and strong winds across the country

Big storms are hitting the country, accompanied by heavy rains and strong winds. Specifically, rain and occasional showers are affecting the eastern Aegean and Thrace, while the west will experience a renewal in the phenomena.
As is logical, the weather has caused changes in scheduled flights, with 3.5 hour delays, while other flights have been cancelled.

Such is the changing weather that even snowfall is expected in the evening in mountainous areas of western, central and northern Greece, while in western Macedonia and Epirus there will be snowfall at an altitude of 1400 meters. Winds in the west and north will be northerly, while the rest of the country will experience southerly winds between 6-7B. Temperatures will drop across the country in the afternoon.

According to forecast data, during the two-day period of Monday and Tuesday (10-11/10), the weather is expected to continue affecting the eastern and southern mainland and island parts of the Aegean.
