ASE sees small rise on Wednesday
Equity prices were declining at the opening of trade on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE) on Wednesday, with the basic share price index down 0.51%, standing at 1,007.38 points at 11:15 am local time, and turnover at 9.539 million euros.

Individual sector indices were mainly moving downward, with the biggest gains in Insurance, up 5.00%; Public Utilities, up 2.40%, and Commerce, up 2.18%.
The biggest losses were in Personal and Household Goods, down 1.53%, and Banks, down 1.30%.
The FTSE/ASE 20 index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was down 0.70%, the FTSE/ASE MID 40 index was down 0.33%, and the FTSE/ASE-80 small cap index was down 0.75%.
Of the stocks traded, 25 were up, 28 were down, and 21 remained unchanged.
