The consensus should have happened already!

The President of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises, Mr.Dimitris Daskalopoulos, announced the following today in a very “politically tainted” statement during the annual meeting of the Federation.

“We need a consensus not of a political compromise but of a national force. Such an alliance would have been possible when the country went to the IMF a year ago", said Mr.Daskalopoulos, a statement that was aimed at the government and other political parties.

He added that “in order for the consensus not to be a meaningless act, there is absolute need for more drastic action and braver initiative in order to escape this dead end.”

Mr. Daskalopoulos announced that in tonight’s speech at the open conference of HFE he will announce his propositions and positions in this direction.

Proto Thema, in its latest edition, mentioned that according to sources from his close circle, Mr.Daskalopoulos will be making a severe attack on all political parties, in such a tone that he will cause extreme discomfort to all sides. He will also announce the terms through which a new “social current” could take the prospect of “salvation and growth of the country” in its hands.

His speech tonight is an eagerly anticipated one, that is for sure…
