The 7-year-old from Drosia, Euboea, passed away at the Aghia Sophia Children’s Hospital shortly after 11 am on Friday.

The 7-year-old from Drosia, Euboea, passed away at the Aghia Sophia Children’s Hospital shortly after 11 am on Friday.
The child was seriously injured by a 26-year-old who threw a firecracker in the churchyard in the village of Anthidon
Τhe boy lost his left eye and up until now was hospitalized in critical condition in the ICU. According to preliminary information, the boy’s heart could not cope, and he suffered cardiac arrest.
Little Chris attended the church service at St. George in Drosia on Saturday and got hit with a firecracker to the head, thrown by the 26-year-old. He underwent surgery, lost his left eye but everyone was hoping for a miracle. Finally, the miracle never happened, and he “departed” for the skies today.
