Mr. Papandreou chose not to reveal specific measures on the 15th of April, something which has troubled his party's MPs.

The main question is whether it is a communication strategy and a logical position, since he does not want to cause reactions amidst the Easter holidays, or whether behind the stalling is a new way of fighting off voices inside his party and of course, opposition from other parties.
According to all the indications so far, there are several proposals in the PM's drawer as to what profile he should present and what policy he should follow. The main views, expressed by his Ministers and collaborators, relate to a government reshuffle - which certainly should entail removing the Minister of Finance Mr. Papakostantinou - or to asking the Parliament for broad consent concerning a confidence vote on the fiscal measures for 2012-2015. And if he does not get the majority of votes, he should proceed to elections.
