A British Boeing type-757-200 aircraft landed at 14:52 at “Eleftherios Venizelos” airport, after a bomb threat, which the Greek authorities were alerted about when the aircraft enter the Athens FIR.

The “Renegade” plan was immediately put into effect, and two Greek F-16 fighter jets took off from Anchialos, while a Super Puma helicopter took off from Eleusis.
The aircraft landed safely and the 213 occupants were evacuated, while specially trained dogs immediately began checking the airplane.
