Wednesday weather

Local rain and snowfall will occur on the mountains and some lowlands in the north of the country. Storms will hit the west and gradually the south, and very stormy winds will blow in the Ionian.

Increasing cloud will occur in Attica that will later bring rain. The temperature will range between 7-11C, 2-3 lower in the north.

Overcast skies with chances of rain will occur in Thessaloniki, with the temperature at 3-8C.

Cloud will occur in Macedonia and Thrace too, increased in central and western Macedonia, with light local rain. Snow will fall on the mountains and in the night also in lowland areas. The temperature will range between -1 and 8C.

In Epirus, the western mainland, west Peloponnisos and the Ionian, local overcast skies will bring rain and sporadic storms. Snow will fall on the mountains and some lowland areas in Epirus and the western mainland. The phenomena in the Ionian, Epirus and in the evening in the western mainland and northwestern Peloponnisos will be strong. The winds will be eastern-southeastern 6-8 and in the Ionian 9B and the temperature will be at 6-18C.

In Thessaly, the eastern mainland, Evia and east Peloponnisos local cloud will occur that will gradually bring rain and storms. Snow will fall on the mountains and lowland areas of Thessaly and the eastern mainland. The winds will be eastern-northeastern 4-6B and the temperature 6-8C.

In Crete and the Cyclades local rain and possibly storms will occur starting from the west of Crete. By noon these phenomena will have moved to the rest of the areas. Winds will be eastern at 4-5B and the temperature will range between 8-17C.

In the eastern Aegean and Dodecanese cloud will occur and in the afternoon there will  be sporadic rains in the eastern Aegean and in the evening in the Dodecanese. The winds in the north will be northwestern at 5-7B and 3-4B in the south. The temperature will range between 9-17C.
