The controversial public transport bill might already have been voted for by Parliament, yet public transport employees are determined to continue their protests, bringing even more discomfort to the public.

Specifically, ETHEL bus workers reached a decision during their General Assembly on Wednesday afternoon, to strike until the end of the month.

On Friday 18th of February and Monday the 21st, bus workers will go on work stoppages from 11 am to 16:30 pm.

On Wednesday the 23rd, buses and all other means of public transportation will be immobilized, since employees will participate in the 24-hour strike announced by the two biggest unions, GSEE and ADEDY.

From 11am until 16:30 pm on Friday the 25th and on Monday the 28th, all transportation services will cease to work as all employees will hold a joint general meeting in the “Peace and Friendship Stadium”, in order to decide on further action.
