Reality is not changing and it has become apparent to the readers of protothema.gr since Friday: the Finance minister has agreed to the infamous 50bil euros that the Troika wants, which as we reported, will only be collected if Mykonos and Santorini are sold!

Lest we forget: a briefing notice that was launched by the Finance ministry on Friday afternoon, after the Troika interview/uproar, in the chapter “Policies of privatization, usage of public assets and restructuring” refers characteristically to the following:

* reinforcement of privatization and usage of the state real estate program for 2012-2015
* completion of registration and creation of a portfolio of participations and real estate for commercial utilisation of at least 50bil. The aim is the collection of at least 50bil between 2011-2015, 15 of which have been targeted for 2012.

Regardless of the fact that circles of the Finance ministry were leaking on Friday that “we were drawn to this figure by the announcements of Samaras”, it is quite obvious that Papakonstantinou has accepted it as a target!

We just have to wait and see if he will auction off Mykonos and Santorini…
