Just one day after the decision of the Investgation Committe for the Siemens scandal to include his name, the Committee asked the Parliament to authorise the examination of files from all the national stockmarket enterprises, in order to look for evidence of any exchange they might have had with Mr Tsohatzopoulos and members of his family. They have reportedly asked for any business conducted from 1990 onwards.
The auditing of the former minister is related to his assets and it is coming in a period when Mr.Tsohatzopoulos is screaming out his innocence at the top of his lungs and implying he has been framed.
According to sources from the stock market, the audits and checks will be combined with all his ministry positions from 2000-2004.
