The new logo bears the name "Nea Democratia" in a blue and light blue font, framed with curved and straight lines in orange and green. It seems to be a simple and abstract logo, which mainly plays with colours.
"It's the new, 21st century image of the party", stated Mr. Samaras, stressing that the old logo "has not been discarded but passed on to history". He added that the new logo represents the new values of the party: transparency, pioneering spirit, humanity, confidence and calm power.
The new website of the party was also introduced.
