Look who's talking about "mutts"

He might say that it has been ten years since he took "good care" of someone, he might call public sector employees  "mutts", but reality and Proto Thema's reports are here to remind the vice-president of the government that he should think first (or remember), and then talk.

Proto Thema's revelations this past Sunday included the fact that Mr. Pagkalos, who publicly stated yesterday that he has not accomodated any political favours for ten years, seems to have appointed his wife's coworker and unsuccessful Saronikos District candidate to his own office right after the regional elections.

"Scripta manent"; our newspaper uncovered and revealed the fact that Mr. Thodoros Pagkalos requested that a public sector employee be moved to his political office. This particular individual had been a candidate with Pagkalos' wife's - Mrs. Christina Christofaki - candidacy group. The word is about the employee of the District Union Municipalities and Boroughs of Attiki, and PASOK party member, Mr. Dimitris Aggelis.

As proven in the documents, on the 18th of November of 2010, only four days after the second round of mayoral and district elections, the vice-president requested that Mr. Aggelis be moved to his own office. This request was granted on the 3rd of December, after a meeting of the appropriate body who unanimously voted for it.

The Daughter

The vice-president also lied about his own daughter, claiming that he appointed her to his political office, as was his prerogative. Ariadne Pagkalos was appointed in the Mayoral Office of Athens during Dora Bakoyannis' term as Mayor. Ms. Pagkalos was also appointed to the Athens University, where she had been transferred from Mr. Pagkalos' political office.
