Korydallos trial with 17 November-like measures
They are looking for the hideout used to make the bombs with Korinthos at the epicentre – Alert for a possible new hit

As the trial of the individuals accused of taking part in the "Conspiracy of the Cores of Fire" organisation begins, the antiterrorism unit takes on a double role; protecting possible targets in cooperation with other units on one hand, and continuing the search for the rest of the cores in Athens, Thessaloniki and other cities on the other.
The entire police force is on red alert status since there is a possibility of a hit by the rest of the members, so the search is continued on two axes.
First and foremost, there is the location of the hideout used for making the bombs for the hits planned for the duration of the trial.
According to information there is a chance that a hideout might exist in Korinthos as 2 of the 3 arrestees made three trips there.
The second axis is the location of 3-5 people with whom the arrestees had connections and were planning the hits together.
Highly reliable information states that there is ID data for 2 of them but they have vanished and despite extensive police searchesw, they are nowhere to be found. One of them is male, 40yo, seems to be a link between groups-cores and possibly acts in the wider Korinthos area.

«The next days are very crucial for the investigation and for a possible new hit. We are on alert as important developments are expected very soon» stresses an antiterrorism officer at protothema.gr.
It’s worth noting that there is a major issue with the parents of the 27yo German woman arrested in Nea Ionia, as the press office of the ministry for Citizen Protection informed journalists that she is the daughter of a woman formerly accused of participation in the RAF terrorist organization.
As it turned out, her parents have no connection with said individual and police were misled by her parents’ surname and made the statement before she was fuly identified.
Extreme security measures
This morning, the trial of those arrested for taking part in the «Conspiracy of the Cores of Fire» begins under extreme security measures, in a specially modified space inside the Korydallos prison.
As ANA reports, inside, outside and around the room there will be tens of policemen and the entrance will be controlled. Entry will only be allowed for those carrying special permission.
«The measures will be similar to those at the 17 November trial» says a Greek Police officer.
According to sources, officers from the Police force, the anti-terrorist unit and EKAM will be assigned positions in the surrounding buildings.
Meanwhile, a police helicopter will be flying overhead. «Policemen will be in the area but that will not upset the everyday life of the city» said the same officer.
Special care has been taken as concerns the judges’ movements, as there is fear of a possible hit against them.
