«Έφυγε ο γλυκός μας Λουκ Πέρι»: Σοκ στο Χόλιγουντ για τον «Ντίλαν» του Μπέβερλι Χιλς

Ξεκίνησε την τηλεοπτική του καριέρα στις αρχές της δεκαετίας του '80, ωστόσο έγινε είδωλο μέσα από τη σειρά των 90's  «Χτυποκάρδια στο Μπέβερλι Χιλς», μία σειρά - φαινόμενο που αγαπήθηκε ιδιαίτερα και στην Ελλάδα.

Ο λόγος για τον αγαπημένο ηθοποιό Λουκ Πέρι, ο οποίος «έφυγε», τη Δευτέρα, σε ηλικία 52 ετών, από τις επιπλοκές του σοβαρού εγκεφαλικού επεισοδίου που υπέστη την περασμένη εβδομάδα.  

Η είδηση του θανάτου του  έχει προκαλέσει παγκόσμια συγκίνηση και από την πρώτη στιγμή χιλιάδες χρήστες στα social media δημοσιεύουν μηνύματα όπου εκφράζουν την θλίψη τους, ανάμεσά τους και διάσημοι φίλοι και συνάδελφοι του ηθοποιού.

Εκτοξεύτηκε με το «Μπέβερλι Χιλς» - Ποδοπάτημα για ένα αυτόγραφό του

Ο Λουκ Πέρι γεννήθηκε στις 11 Οκτωβρίου 1966 στο Μάνσφιλντ του Οχάιο. Αφότου τελείωσε το λύκειο, μετακόμισε στο Λος Άντζελες για να κυνηγήσει το όνειρό του στην ηθοποιΐα. Η τηλεοπτική του καριέρα ξεκίνησε σε ηλικία 16 ετών.

Ωστόσο στα 24 του έμελλε να λάμψει το άστρο του και να γίνει είδωλο της νεολαίας ως Ντίλαν ΜακΚέι στην σειρά των 90's «Χτυποκάρδια στο Μπέβερλι Χιλς» του Fox, μία σειρά - φαινόμενο που αγαπήθηκε ιδιαίτερα και στην Ελλάδα.

Ο «Ντίλαν» ήταν ο δημοφιλέστερος χαρακτήρας της σειράς. Χαρακτηριστικό είναι το γεγονός ότι το 1991 με το που εμφανίστηκε σε εμπορικό κέντρο της Φλόριντα, έγινε «ποδοπάτημα», όταν 10.000 άτομα μαζεύτηκαν για να του ζητήσουν αυτόγραφο.

Μάλιστα αρκετοί νοσηλεύτηκαν σε νοσοκομείο, ενώ το εμπορικό κέντρο αναγκάστηκε να κλείσει τις πόρτες του.

Ο ηθοποιός έφυγε στην έκτη σεζόν της σειράς, προκειμένου να ξεφύγει από τον χαρακτήρα του Ντίλαν, ωστόσο επέστρεψε στην 9η.

Εκτός από το «Μπέβερλι Χιλς», ο Πέρι έπαιξε σημαντικούς ρόλους και στις σειρές "Another World," "Oz," "Jeremiah," "Windfall," "John from Cincinnati," και "Body of Proof."

Στον κινηματογράφο είχε πρωταγωνιστήσει στις ταινίες «8 Seconds» και το «Πέμπτο στοιχείο» του Λικ Μπεσόν, ενώ συμμετείχε και στην τελευταία ταινία του Κουέντιν Ταραντίνο «Μια φορά κι έναν καιρό στο Χόλιγουν», που πραγματεύεται την ιστορία του Τσαρλς Μάνσον.

Παράλληλα, είχε δανείσει τη φωνή του σε ταινίες καρτούν, όπως τα: «Biker Mice from Mars», «Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm», «The Legend of Calamity Jane», «The Incredible Hulk», «Pepper Ann», «Pound Puppies» και άλλα.

Το 2015 διαγνώστηκε με προκαρκινωματική κακοήθεια στο παχύ έντερο και έγινε υπέρμαχος των ελέγχων για το συγκεκριμένο είδος καρκίνου.

Ο Λουκ Πέρι υπήρξε παντρεμένος με την Ρέιτσελ Μίνι Σαρπ από το 1993 μέχρι το 2003, με την οποία απέκτησαν δύο παιδιά, τον Τζακ και την Σόφι.
