George A. Petzetakis, of the Greek plastics and rubber industry, was
arrested by the Economic Police for debts to the state of over 2.000.000
euros. The 47-year-old president of Petzetakis Aristovoulos SA was arrested this morning in the area of Vouliagmeni for outstanding debts to the state amounting to the sum of 2.093.979.75 euros. The arrested businessman will be taken to the Athens First Instance Court Proseuctor tomorrow.
The arrest of the businessman is added to the long list of prosecutions by the Economic Police, which began with the arrest of chief executive of the ATTI-KAT company, Panayiotis Panousis, and the celebrity hairdresser of “Nicolas”, Nicholas Papaconstantinou Tzivanakis.
