6 women are among the dead. The driver and the guide were injured.
The bus, which was carrying 37 Americans, was headed towards the Abu Simbel temples when it crashe into a truck filled with sand, stopped at the side of the road.
Three buses with tourists were headed for the temples but none of the other passengers were injured.
