Radical Change in temperature!

According to the National Weather Forecast, the temperature will fall to 12 degrees.

Thessaly, the Midlands and Northern Peloponese, as well as the Northern suburbs of Athens, will experience snow.

In Northern Greece gushing winds are followed by extreme cold, and small boats and ships are not allowed to set sail. All ski resorts will be open from tomorrow for the first time this year.

A very characteristic example of the sudden change is the city of Kozan,i where the temperature on Thursday morning was 17 degrees and today the thermometer showed -1.

Attica will be cloudy with intermittent rain and storms during midday. Snow will only reach the northern suburbs during early evening. The temperature will stay at between 8 and 15 degrees

On Saturday the same cloudy and possibly snowy weather will continue. Storms in the Aegean sea and islands will mellow down during the night. There will be frost in the early morning.

No ships are allowed to sail from Rafina to Cyclades, from Lavrio to Sporades and from Piraeus to Argosaronikos and Kithira.

At the same time, no ships cab set sail from Patras to Igoumenitsa and the Ionian islands, Agios Kostantinos-Edipsos, Arkitsas-Edipsos, Alexandroupoli-Samothrace, Volos-sporades and Kavala-Prinos.
