A criminal investigation was conducted and completed on this case, which came to Justice after a lawsuit by 65 investors, by the finance department of the Prosecution, who proceeded to charge the businessman with the felony offenses of fraud and money laundering.
The 6th circuit judge thought it possible that Pavlos Psomiadis is likely to avoid confrontation and judged him to be a flight risk, so she issued a warrant for his arrest.
