26-year-old man left at the morgue as a “John Doe” for 28 days!

His parents had declared him missing since the beginning of November. 26-year-old Christos Kalivas left his hometown of Aigio to go to a rave party in Athens.

Since that night he has been missing. The next day his parents informed the Aigio police and Angeliki Nikolouli's show about missing people, “Light in the Tunel”.

After a 28-day search the tragic news were revealed through a phone call. The father of the boy was called upon to identify his son in the morgue.

Christos Kalivas was found dead opposite the REX Theatre near Omonoia Square and was transported the morgue.

The outrageous aspect of the story is that employees at the morgue have been contacted by the parents and the tv show, but didn’t bother to call back with the news that they had probably found the body of the young man days after the tv show was aired.

Fate has been very hard on the family that lost both sons in two years.
