A tragic ending for a night out for three minors, 16 and 17yo, at Giannitsa prefecture, when their car, driven by on of them, went off its course hitting a bridge railing, resulting in the death of two passengers.
According to the announcement of the General Police Authority in Pella, the accident happened around 01:15 at the 19th klm of the Giannitsa-Aridaia country road. The 17yo driver and the 16yo passenger, who according to the police did not have their seatbelts on, are dead, while another passenger, a minor too, was injured.
Until 1 o’clock in the afternoon, there was no new information about the circumstances of the accident, or the identity of the owner of the vehicle.
The Giannitsa Traffic Police Station has initiated a preliminary investigation on the exact causes of the accident.
