New Democracy for Labor Day: Country on the road to recovery
The party's statement
This year's May Day finds the country on the road to recovery, as stated in a message for Labor Day, by the New Democracy party.
The announcement is a retrospection of two years ago, when Labor Day, as ND states, found the country on the verge of economic collapse and society facing the risk of complete paralysis.
"This year's May Day, after the enormous sacrifices of the Greek people, finds its place on the road to recovery", they state and add that the economy is beginning to regain its footing and hope is reborn.
"All our efforts are now in development and creating new jobs. All of our concerns is on the unemployed and the economically disadvantaged. The countdown has already begun. United and determined, we can do it", the statement concludes.
