NATO: French and British fighters over the Baltic
Four French fighters reached Poland on Monday and four British jet fighters landed in Lithuania, during a surveillance mission of the airspace of the Baltic regions by NATO, according to official sources. In particular, four French Rafale jets landed in Malbrok in northern Poland, as the French Ministry of Defence stated.

The mission was part of NATO's efforts to reassure the Eastern European countries who are worried by Russia's attitude during the Ukrainian crisis.

Approximately 70 French soldiers have been deployed in Malbrok, according to the representative of the French National Defence General Staff, as stated by the AFP.

The four French aircraft will participate in a training "sky police" mission of the Polish army and air surveillance missions.

As to what concerns Great Britain, the defense ministry stated that four Typhoon jet fighters reached Lithuania.
